Hey, I’m Arya! I took the intro course myself because I was interested in ML and ethics, and wanted to learn more, but didn’t know where to start. I really enjoyed the intro course, and since I love teaching, I was a TA for it. Now, I’m excited to co-lead it and work with the rest of leadership to make this the best quarter yet! I’m a CS student at UW, and outside of school, I like exploring new food spots, music, and trying new things.

Hey, I’m Misha! I am a CS student at UW focused on machine learning and its applications in neuroscience. I joined i2 as an Intro Course student and I loved it so much that I came back to teach it. Then I loved teaching so much that I became the Co-President. Outside of i2, I am a CSE 123 TA, I love Bollywood movies, and running with my friends!

Matt Golub, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington. He directs the Systems Neuroscience & AI Lab (SNAIL), which builds computational models at the intersection of neuroscience, machine learning, and neuroengineering to understand how neural population activity drives movement, decision-making, and learning.

Hello, I’m Abel, an applied math and neuroscience concentrator. NeuroAI continues to fascinatingly evolve, and I look forward to sharing many wonders with you and i2.

Hi, I’m Anushka Chougule, a Management Information Systems graduate student! I’m also the Developing Curriculum and Research Lead at i2, where I guide students in exploring research topics in emerging technologies and help refine the AI/ML curriculum. I got involved with i2 through the Intro Course, where I found it fascinating to see how AI can impact neuroscience beyond traditional healthcare applications.

Hi, I’m Divij! I’m a computer science major, pursuing a double major in physics. I joined i2 because the idea of natural/synthetic intelligence and pedagogy is quite interesting to me. I have quite a broad set of interests (both academically and outside) and am usually down to explore most (even obscure) topics so feel free to connect to yap ;)

Hi, I’m Diya, one of the i2 Fellows Leads! I’m a computer science major, and I took i2’s intro course in Fall 2023. Outside of academics, I love to read, cook, and crochet.

Hello, I’m Eric, and I’m studying CS and applied mathematics. I joined this club mostly because I found the idea of intelligence really interesting. Is it something that is special and unique, or is it something that could be recreated? I’m leaning towards the latter due to the impressive recent advancements in AI. I really enjoyed all the programs and events that this club offered in the past, such as the Intro Course, i2 Talks, Kaggle Wrangling, and i2 Fellows, and I hope we can bring all of these (and others!) back. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and hiking, and I occasionally play tennis.

Hi I’m Heather majoring in Psychology! I am interested how human behavior and biopsych can be applicable in machine learning and AI! I know I’m now in the very traditional way of exploring AI systems, but I enjoy new things all the time.

Hi! I’m Navya, and I’m a sophomore majoring in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Biochemistry. I’m pursuing this mishmash of majors because I’m very interested in computational biology, and i2 is an RSO that (somewhat) talks about that so I joined it :) I took & TAed the intro course, and I’m psyched to be an Operations lead now.

Hi, I’m Priya and I am a junior in Bioengineering. I joined i2 because I was curious to know more about opportunities to learn about AI in neuroscience. Outside of i2, I am a part of Bioengineers without Borders and am currently doing research in the Olanrewaju Lab. I also love to swim, read, and play guitar!

Hi, I’m Pushpesh! I’m majoring in CS and am in my 2nd year at UW. I joined i2 in my first year, and it helped me build foundational knowledge in the fields of AI and aspects of machine learning. In my spare time, I love to play the piano and play/watch pretty much any sport (mainly soccer, football, and basketball).

Hello, I’m Rachel! I’m a second-year computer science major, and I joined I2 to learn more about the intersections between CS and neuroscience. In my free time I like to watch movies, type, and create art.

Hi, I am Shravani, and one of the i2 Fellows Leads and a Computer Science major at UW. Outside academics, I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and Sudoku. I joined Interactive Intelligence last year where I took the Intro Course, TAed for it, and participated in i2 Fellows. Being a part of i2 was a great learning opportunity, and I am excited to be on the research leadership this year.

Hey, I’m Soham! I am a freshman majoring in computer science and very interested in AI and its applications in the medical field as well as AI ethics. I really enjoyed learning about these topics in the intro course, and thus became a TA and now am on leadership. Outside of school, I like traveling, reading and playing tennis!

Hi, I’m Yifan, a 1st year majoring in CS. I joined i2 to sharpen my AI/ML skills and to learn more about neuroscience. Outside of those topics, I’m also passionate about design and UX. I built this website! In my free time, I like bouldering and biking around Seattle.
